Suffering From Depression? You Are Not Alone

Jason Shake • May 16, 2023

Depression is not a popular subject. Many people choose to suffer in silence rather than admit they need help or ask for that help.

But according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 17.3 million adults in the United States had at

least one major depressive episode in 2017. This is equivalent to 7.1% of the adult population, which is a significant increase from previous years.

Why if there are so many people suffering are we still reluctant to seek out help? Depression is a serious mental health disorder that can have a

devastating impact on the lives of those affected. It is important to recognize the signs of depression and seek help if necessary, as this can be the

key to leading a healthy and fulfilling life.

There are many different treatments available. Talk therapy, medication, and TMS therapy are all options. You are not alone you just have to take

the first step. It is time to feel better.
